The ARHCA is also deeply committed to long-term, stable transportation infrastructure, believing that a "strong transportation system is essential to Canada's future" for moving goods and services to local and international markets and providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective travel on Canadian roads.

The ARHCA lobbies to "maintain and further develop a fair, equitable, and prosperous heavy construction industry in Alberta," and also offers health and safety, environment, and human resources to its membership.
